This Class 1 Truck Driver position requires English, secondary school graduation, and two to less than three years of experience. You will operate manual transmission vehicles for local and short-haul transportation. The work includes route adjustments, dispatch communication, cargo documentation, and vehicle oversight. Attention to detail, reliability, organization, and sound judgement support daily performance.
Key Responsibilities: Plan routes using GPS and navigation equipment
Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo
Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Record cargo, hours, distances, and fuel consumption
Receive information from and communicate with central dispatch
Requirements: Secondary school graduation certificate
Two to less than three years of experience
Class 1 or A driver's licence
Air Brakes Endorsement
Willingness to travel overnight and extended periods
Use tractor-trailer, GPS, inspection, and cargo-handling skills as a reliable Class 1 driver serving local routes.
