American Iron & Metal seeks a Truck Mechanic for its Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures operations. This permanent full time position maintains and repairs trucks, trailers, and other mobile equipment. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, from 2:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., supporting equipment safety and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards
Resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Conduct functional equipment tests
Record repairs and maintenance accurately
Requirements: DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training
Minimum two years of heavy vehicle mechanics experience
PEP card and driver’s license
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools
Apply heavy vehicle repair, diagnostic, and inspection expertise to maintain American Iron & Metal equipment during evening operations.
