This full-time associate opportunity integrates a technologically savvy securities lawyer into Stikeman Elliott’s securities and capital markets group. You will develop practice resources, analyze legal and regulatory developments, and provide hands-on support for complex securities law matters. The work also includes training, thought leadership, and legal technology innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain securities practice and knowledge resources
Monitor legal, industry, and regulatory developments for the group
Advise clients and internal teams on complex securities matters




Automate legal resources and productize workflows with technology teams
Support legal technology pilots, training, and adoption strategies
Requirements: Law degree and good-standing Law Society of Ontario membership
At least five years’ securities transactional experience at a large firm
Excellent academic credentials and technical legal knowledge
Affinity for AI, technology, and troubleshooting new tools
Solid analytical, drafting, project management, and communication skills
Use securities law, AI, and legal technology knowledge to advance Stikeman Elliott’s Toronto capital markets practice.
