As Assistant Superintendent, you will help oversee maintenance, operations, and management of the golf course, grounds, and facilities. The role supports a member-owned private club while contributing to major master plan enhancements. Responsibilities include staff supervision, fertilizer applications, chemical applications, cultural practices, records, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, schedule, and execute daily course maintenance operations
- Supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate maintenance staff
- Schedule irrigation programs and troubleshoot system issues
- Perform fertilizer,



chemical, and cultural applications
- Maintain records, inventories, and collected operational data

Requirements:

- Minimum three years of progressive golf course experience
- Strong agronomic knowledge and hands-on leadership approach
- Diploma or degree in a turfgrass-related field
- Robust communication, organizational, and reporting skills
- BC pesticide certificate or ability to obtain within 90 days
