Support prescription data entry and patient service as a Pharmacy Assistant at South Country Co-op’s 13th Ave Pharmacy in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Full availability includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and supervised by the Pharmacist on Duty, you will support pharmacy operations. Duties include preliminary prescription preparation, customer service, inventory support, and administrative functions. The position emphasizes detail, discretion, confidentiality, and professional patient care. Duties follow Provincial Regulatory Body limitations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform prescription data entry and preliminary prescription preparation
- Provide exceptional service to pharmacy patients and guests
- Maintain a clean, qualified, organized work area




- Support inventory tasks and administrative pharmacy functions
- Protect confidentiality and follow regulatory guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

- At least 15 years old and completed Grade 9
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Proficient in data entry; Microsoft Office experience is helpful
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Criminal Record Check required under Alberta College of Pharmacy requirements
