Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this Junior Buyer handles goods and low-dollar catalogue items for projects and business units. The work includes procurement packages, change orders, requesters, project teams, and expediting. Senior Buyers or Leads provide procurement mentorship.
Key Responsibilities: Create non-complex procurement packages
Issue Best Commercial and low-level QA requirements
Manage catalogue and credit card purchasing
Create and issue change orders
Expedite non-complex goods and services
Requirements: Graduate degree
Three to five years buying or related experience
Entry-level procurement or equivalent experience
Minimum Buyer experience and knowledge
Procurement or project coordination is an asset
Bring buying experience, procurement knowledge, and project coordination capability to AtkinsRéalis procurement activities across business units.
