Operate asphalt production equipment for Pioneer Construction in Kenora, Ontario, using safety awareness and mechanical troubleshooting skills. This is full time seasonal work.

As an Asphalt Plant Operator, you will produce mixes, monitor plant performance, and support quality control activities. The work requires previous experience with asphalt, aggregate, concrete, or similar industrial processing plants. You will coordinate with dispatch, drivers, crews, and quality control personnel across operational requirements. Pioneer Construction operates throughout Northern Ontario and emphasizes safe, quality infrastructure work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor asphalt plant and production equipment
- Produce mixes meeting specifications, quality standards, and schedules




- Track inventories and coordinate material replenishment
- Inspect, maintain, lubricate, and troubleshoot plant equipment
- Coordinate startup, shutdown, sampling, testing, and reporting

Requirements:

- Experience operating asphalt, aggregate, concrete, or similar plants
- Knowledge of asphalt production and quality control procedures
- Valid G class Driver’s License
- Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance abilities
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and accurate communication
