The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks a Research Associate under Professor Jianyu Li. You will support fundamental and applied research spanning biomaterial development, biological evaluation, and translational studies. The work includes material design, fabrication, characterization, and tissue integration assessment.
Key Responsibilities: Design, synthesize, and characterize novel bioadhesive materials
Perform cell culture and in vitro biological evaluations
Conduct mechanical and functional adhesive performance testing
Coordinate in vivo animal studies under approved ethical protocols




Prepare data analyses, reports, manuscripts, and presentations
Requirements: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
Minimum five years of research experience
Experience conducting both in vitro and in vivo research
Expertise in bioadhesives, biomaterials, tissue adhesives, or bioengineering
Excellent written and verbal scientific communication skills
