Apply histology knowledge and gross anatomy skills as a Pathology Assistant with Dynacare in Brampton, Ontario, working onsite overnight.
This contract full-time, 12-month Pathology Assistant position supports Dynacare’s Histology team. You will deliver clinical and scientific quality through specimen examination, tissue preparation, documentation, and laboratory equipment operation. The schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. at 115 Midair Court.
Key Responsibilities: Perform gross examinations and prepare tissue sections
Embed tissue in tissue blocks
Document gross findings using laboratory procedures
Operate equipment and load tissue processors
Maintain records, supplies, equipment, and work areas
Requirements: Knowledge of Histology and Microanatomy
Medical terminology, Gross Anatomy, and dissection knowledge
Approved Laboratory Sciences program or equivalent
Bachelor of Science in Biology or equivalent education
Ability to prioritize specimens and work independently
Bring Histology expertise, accurate specimen handling, and laboratory documentation skills to Dynacare’s overnight Brampton team.
