Ottawa Senior Services offers a temporary, approximately one-year Direct Support Professional assignment. You will support people served by Karis Disability Services through person-centered plans, collaboration, and administrative duties. The work promotes relationships, citizenship, self-determination, growth, development, and holistic supports.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with activities of daily living
Promote life development through person-centered plans
Collaborate with teams, families, advocates, friends, and partners
Complete required administrative duties and responsibilities
Build communities of belonging for people supported
Requirements: Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation for a location without bus service
Availability for days, evenings, and alternating weekends
Ability to work 35 hours weekly
