This Stores Person role manages materials, tools, equipment, and consumables across the company’s stores facility. You will receive deliveries, maintain inventory records, issue items, and support construction teams. The work combines indoor and outdoor duties, vehicle operation, manual handling, and strict health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction deliveries
Maintain stock records, checks, and inventory systems
Issue materials and equipment to site personnel
Drive company vehicles to sites and suppliers
Maintain protected, clean, organised stores areas
Requirements: Experience in stores, warehouse, or stock control
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
Understanding of inventory and stock rotation procedures
Full valid driving licence
Strong organisation, accuracy, and record keeping
Use construction materials knowledge, stock control accuracy, and safe vehicle operation to support Peterborough projects and site teams.
