At Muslim Food Bank & Community Services Society, the Social Worker & Coordinator provides direct client support and coordinates the Case Worker Program. The position serves vulnerable individuals and families using trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centred practices. It also guides volunteer caseworkers through training, mentorship, check-ins, and case consultation. Accurate documentation remains central to the work, including intake, case notes, records, reports, and program tracking. Salesforce or another case management system is preferred for maintaining client information and case activity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess client needs, barriers, and appropriate interventions




- Develop action plans supporting individual goals and self-sufficiency
- Connect clients with community resources, programs, and services
- Train, mentor, and support volunteer caseworkers
- Maintain accurate confidential records and program documentation

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in Social Work or related field
- Speaking Urdu and/or Dari is required
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and families
