Support students with intensive special education needs as a Temporary Educational Assistant at Bluewater District School Board on Wednesdays. Provide medical, physical, and safety supervision support.

This temporary part time position is 0.20 FTE in an elementary or secondary school. Reporting to the school Principal, the Educational Assistant supports students requiring intensive special education assistance. The assignment starts as soon as possible and ends December 16, 2026, or earlier if circumstances change.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide medical support to students with intensive special education needs
- Provide physical support in elementary and secondary schools
- Support student safety and supervision throughout scheduled work




- Report to the school Principal regarding assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

- Secondary school diploma
- Post-secondary Education Support Worker program completion
- Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education and experience
- Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, or related credential
- Child and Youth Worker or Developmental Services Worker qualification
