Vancouver Airport Authority is hiring a Fire Inspector to carry out fire inspections and code compliance work at YVR. Candidates with fire prevention or inspection education from JIBC, BCIT or equivalent are a fit, and an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Pay: $80,817 to $105,629 per year (40-hour week)

Key requirements:
- High school plus one to two years of post-secondary in fire inspection, fire prevention or a related field (JIBC, BCIT or equivalent)
- One to three years of relevant experience in fire prevention, inspections, emergency services or similar (or equivalent combination)
- Working knowledge of the BC Fire Code, National Fire Code and NFPA standards
- Valid BC driver's licence with clear abstract (fewer than 6 points) and ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operating Permit
- Transparent criminal record check
