Support surgical patients as a Casual Registered Nurse in PACU at Prairieview Surgical Centre, using assessment and critical thinking skills. Day shifts run Monday to Friday, without shift work.

Prairieview Surgical Centre, a Clearpoint Health Network division, is hiring a Registered Nurse for post-anesthetic care. The RN provides nursing services, assesses patients, supports treatment, and educates patients and families undergoing surgical procedures. This work requires collaboration, documentation, medication safety, infection control, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, treat, and educate patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with members of the healthcare team
- Document patient care appropriately in medical records




- Protect confidential patient and operational information
- Support orientation and education for new facility staff

Requirements:

- Complete an accredited nursing education program
- Hold active or eligible Saskatchewan nursing registration
- Maintain BCLS-HCP, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Demonstrate assessment, organization, communication, and teamwork skills
- Manage patient lifting, transfers, and demanding circumstances
