Prevent theft and fraud as an Asset Protection Specialist at The Home Depot, using investigations, surveillance, and sound judgment in assigned stores.
The Asset Protection Specialist supports financial loss prevention, organized retail crime response, and safety and environmental compliance. You will communicate with store management, associates, Asset Protection Specialist Supervisors, and Market Asset Protection Managers. The work includes CCTV, exception reports, EAS systems, physical security, and reports.
Key Responsibilities: Drive internal and external theft and fraud strategy execution
Conduct surveillance and audit Electronic Article Surveillance systems
Detain, interview, and document apprehended shoplifters lawfully




Preserve evidence and interact with law enforcement
Support store safety and environmental compliance programs
Requirements: High school diploma or GED
One-plus year retail Loss Prevention Investigator experience preferred
Solid Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office knowledge
Valid security guard or private investigator license where applicable
Access to a vehicle and some travel availability
Use communication, technology, investigation, and physical security skills to protect The Home Depot’s stores and associates.
