Support emergency patient care at William Osler Health System with CPR, patient transport, and equipment coordination across rotating shifts.
This permanent, part time Orderly position serves Osler’s Emergency department within its major Ontario hospital system. Working under the resource nurse, you will assist with patient care while transporting patients, specimens, and supplies. The position supports departmental equipment and requires availability for days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with patient care under the resource nurse’s direction
Maintain, monitor, and distribute departmental equipment
Transport patients, specimens, and supplies as required
Work rotating days and nights across eight or twelve-hour shifts
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent education
Accredited personal support worker or health care aide program
Current CPR certification
Minimum two years’ recent related patient care experience
Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting on an ongoing basis
Bring patient care experience, communication skills, and dependable transport support to Osler’s Emergency department as an Orderly.
