Operate heavy equipment for YORK1’s environmental services across Ontario, handling waste, soil remediation, and construction materials safely. Monday to Friday shifts begin at 6:00 a.m.
This Heavy Equipment Operator supports post-collection facilities and specified job sites. The work includes spreading and compacting construction demolition, commercial, residential waste, and soil remediation materials. You will follow operating procedures, inspect equipment, and relocate between sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment under company safety policies
Spread and compact waste and remediation materials
Inspect equipment and conduct preventative maintenance
Move raw materials and finished components
Maintain accurate equipment records
Requirements: Minimum five years operating heavy-duty equipment
Valid driver license
Ability to operate soil excavation equipment
Understand environmental and health safety regulations
Lift 50 pounds on a non-consistent basis
Bring heavy equipment operation, inspection, and materials-handling experience to YORK1’s Ontario environmental and industrial service operations.
