This full-time position involves animal room maintenance, arrivals, and study-support activities within Charles River’s Toxicology team. You will follow Valuable Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and IACUC rules. Training is provided beyond the listed qualifications.
Key Responsibilities: Sanitize animal rooms and procedure rooms
Prepare rooms for animal arrivals
Perform animal arrivals and animal restraints
Collect waste and soiled materials during rounds
Follow GLP, SOP, and IACUC requirements
Requirements: High School Diploma
Ability to manage time effectively
Ability to work autonomously and within teams
Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms, walk, stand, and stoop
Good understanding of French
Bring organization, physical capability, and procedural focus to animal housing operations supporting Charles River studies in Laval.
