Lead finance for Hockley Valley Resort and Adamo Estate Winery, using budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across a four-season destination.

This experienced Controller leads the Finance & Accounting department and serves on the Executive Committee. The role partners with the General Manager, operational leaders, and Sunray Corporate. Responsibilities span financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, cash management, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise the General Manager and Executive Committee with actionable financial insights
- Lead annual budgeting and biweekly revenue forecasting with department leaders
- Oversee general ledger, payables, receivables, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, inventory, and financial performance




- Lead and develop the four-person Accounting team

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Experience leading accounting functions, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of payroll, labour costs, banking, cash management, and taxes
