The position supports 19 permanent clients and nine short-stay beds for respite, convalescent, and palliative care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal and nursing care to clients
Assess clients and plan individualized care
Implement care with the multidisciplinary team
Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications
Apply applicable pharmaceutical and organizational procedures
Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse qualification
Previous experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Ability to follow BCCNM standards of practice
Ability to follow unit-specific protocols
Reliable, flexible, and motivated work approach
Deliver assessment, medication administration, and personal nursing care for Deni House clients through Interior Health’s long term care service.
