Provide personal care and daily living support as a part time Personal Support Worker with Extendicare, following supervisors’ directions and care plans.
This position supports residents or clients while meeting regulatory and Extendicare standards, policies, and procedures. You will assist with hygiene, meals, mobility, transfers, adaptive aids, and emotional support. The work also includes observing conditions, reporting concerns, and protecting confidential information.
Key Responsibilities: Follow supervisor-determined plans of care
Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living
Support ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and adaptive aids
Observe and report changes in resident or client conditions




Escalate emergencies and safety concerns appropriately
Requirements: Personal Support Worker program graduate or provincial equivalent
Experience working with seniors in community health services
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Robust communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to lift and transfer clients
Bring personal care, mobility assistance, observation, and communication skills to support residents and clients through Extendicare’s standards.
