The position requires a post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in chemistry or environmental studies. Two years of MHSW, chemistry, or relevant experience is required, alongside a valid G License and personal transportation.
Key Responsibilities: Operate the Region of Halton MHSW Depot
Identify, sort, and pack waste chemicals
Weigh materials and record inventory data
Provide customer service to visiting residents
Maintain clean grounds and facility
Requirements: Post-secondary degree or diploma required
Two years of MHSW, chemistry, or relevant experience
Valid G License and personal transportation
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Strong communication skills with representatives and public
Support secure depot operations through waste processing, customer service, accurate weighing, and effective communication with Halton representatives.
