About the Opportunity

Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations for corporate and operating bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Prepare and reconcile credit facility schedules and monitor daily cash positions.

Prepare and post journal entries for internally managed investment funds using the Yardi accounting system.

Process mortgage-related wire transfers, invoices, and other cash transactions for investment entities.

Calculate monthly dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) amounts.

Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and operational issues in a timely manner.

Establish and verify wire transfer templates for new vendors in accordance with established callback verification controls.

Compile and upload supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency, strengthen processes, and enhance client service.

Assist with special projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.

About You

Minimum of 2 years of experience in fund accounting, corporate accounting, cash management, or financial operations, preferably within the financial services or investment management industry.

Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, cash processing, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.





Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with Yardi is considered an asset.

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling financial transactions and reconciliations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of wire transfer procedures, payment controls, and audit documentation is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Range
$32 - $36 / hour
