Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing as a full time Technician with Dynacare in Winnipeg, Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 6:30pm. Support patient testing.
This three-month term position serves Dynacare’s Laboratory Health Services Centre at 2077 Pembina Highway. You will obtain blood specimens, conduct routine laboratory procedures, and support quality metrics. The work contributes data used in disease diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain venous and capillary blood specimens
Perform urine collections and specimen preparations
Handle infectious materials according to guidelines
Maintain accurate test and control records
Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations
Requirements: Graduate of a Laboratory Technician program or equivalent experience
Experience with phlebotomy
Medical terminology knowledge is an asset
Ability to multitask and work within a team
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Apply laboratory technician expertise, phlebotomy experience, and careful specimen handling at Dynacare’s Winnipeg centre.
