Use phlebotomy expertise as a part time Technician with Dynacare at Crossroads LHSC in Winnipeg. Collect quality specimens and support patient testing.

This permanent part time Technician role supports Dynacare’s Laboratory Health Services Centre department. You will perform routine laboratory procedures, maintain quality metrics, and help create the ideal customer experience. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 12:00pm, for 22.5 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain venous and capillary blood specimens
- Perform urine collections and specimen preparations
- Handle infectious materials according to all guidelines
- Maintain accurate test and control result records
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibrations

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Laboratory Technician program or equivalent experience
- Experience with phlebotomy
- Medical terminology knowledge is an asset
- Ability to multitask and work within a team
- Current required criminal and abuse registry checks
