Full Time Temporary Educational Assistants St. John Paul II Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 School Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is seeking experienced an Educational Assistant for a temporary full time contract for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year.
St. John Paul II Catholic School serves just over 550 students in Stony Plain, AB. Educational Assistants provide support to students with diverse academic and social/ emotional needs. Passion to help students reach their full potential, strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
This position is to begin as soon as possible and end June 30, 2027 of the 2026-2027 school year.




Salary range $20.74 - $29.32 per hour as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.
The following qualifications will be assets to applicants: Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
