Support patient meals at Oak Valley Health through food preparation, meal delivery, and attentive customer service across hospital units. Rotating shifts include days, evenings, and every other weekend.
As a Food Services Attendant, you will help deliver patient-centred meal service through the Burlodge system. Duties include portioning, labeling, assembling meals according to diets, and maintaining sanitary work areas. The department may assign work across Beltline, Dish room, Cleaner, Pot wash, and Production.
Key Responsibilities: Provide customer service during meal selection and delivery
Prepare, portion, label, and assemble patient meals
Collect food items according to meal tallies
Deliver meals and collect soiled trays from patient units
Clean dish rooms, equipment, and work areas
Requirements: Current Food Handlers Certification or equivalent
Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Computer proficiency; tablet experience is an asset
Ability to work rotating shifts and every other weekend
