Apply HPLC and GC expertise as a Quality Control Chemist with BIOVECTRA in Windsor, Nova Scotia, working rotating 12-hour shifts.
This full time permanent Quality Control Chemist position supports BIOVECTRA, now part of Agilent, within advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will perform instrumental analyses, maintain laboratory records, complete calculations, and support material release activities. The work includes analytical methods used across clinical-to-commercial production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Perform HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, PCR, and electrophoretic assays
Maintain accurate, real-time laboratory activity records
Calibrate instruments and document routine maintenance activities
Track samples and complete material release documentation




Identify out-of-specification results and alert supervisors
Requirements: Diploma from a recognized Chemical Technology program
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related discipline preferred
Technical proficiency with laboratory instrumentation preferred
Knowledge of cGMP guidelines considered an asset
Availability for rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
Bring analytical testing, documentation, and instrumentation skills to BIOVECTRA’s Windsor quality control laboratory within Agilent.
