As a Therapy Assistant in Rehabilitation Medicine, you will assist with therapeutic rehabilitation programs at this acute inpatient hospital. You will participate in assessment-related activities, help plan and develop client programs, and lead individual or group treatment and educational interventions. Villa Caritas serves individuals living with dementia, psychiatric illness, complex psychosocial needs, and medical comorbidities. The work supports programs focused on functioning, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with delivering therapeutic rehabilitation programs
Participate in assessment-related activities




Help plan and develop client programs
Lead individual treatment interventions
Lead group treatment and educational interventions
Requirements: Directly related diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
Experience working in acute care preferred
Experience with geriatric mental health populations preferred
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check before employment
Disclosure of specified sexual offence records required
