Clean and maintain Central City Lodge as a Regular Part Time Housekeeping Aide, using wet mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting skills. This afternoon position works 1430-2230.
Reporting to the Manager, Support Services or delegate, the Housekeeping Aide maintains assigned facility areas to required housekeeping standards. Duties include light and heavy cleaning, resident-room care, linen handling, and replenishing supplies. The position also uses hand methods and power equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect carpets, floors, stairways, walls, and windows
Clean fixtures, ceilings, vents, blinds, frames, and ledges
High dust or vacuum pipes, lights, and ventilators
Clean resident rooms, washrooms, furniture, and surrounding areas
Collect soiled linen and replenish soap and paper supplies
Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Deal effectively with others
Operate related equipment and organize work
Physical ability to carry out position duties
Apply housekeeping, disinfecting, equipment operation, and resident-room cleaning skills at Central City Lodge during afternoon shifts.
