Deliver direct resident care as a casual Registered Nurse at Extendicare Burloak in Burlington, Ontario, using clinical judgment and medication administration skills.
Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness or Director of Care, this part-time Registered Nurse supports residents through coordinated nursing care. The position includes assessments, documentation, care planning, medication administration, and supervision of Unregulated Care Providers. You will also respond to changing conditions and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities: Complete resident assessments, service plans, and documentation
Administer drugs and narcotics following regulatory requirements
Coordinate resident care assignments and conferences
Manage significant condition changes and medical emergencies




Supervise delegated care and medication administration responsibilities
Requirements: Current Registered Nurse registration in the applicable province
Experience working with seniors and Unregulated Care Providers
Solid communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
Sound clinical knowledge and delegation ability
Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening within six months
Use nursing expertise, care coordination, and clinical judgment to support residents and families at Extendicare Burloak in Burlington.
