Apply AutoCAD and Revit expertise as an Electrical Technologist designing industrial, municipal, and commercial electrical and controls systems. Some travel may be required.
This position suits a qualified technologist with five to ten years of experience and an accredited post-secondary diploma. You will prepare drawings and specifications for diverse projects while contributing to electrical system design. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical Design and Autodesk Revit is required. AutoCAD Plant 3D, PLC programming, SCADA technologies, computer IT, and commissioning experience or interest are assets. Eligibility for TPS membership, leadership ability, communication skills, and teamwork are also required.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare design drawings and specifications for projects




Design power distribution and emergency backup systems up to 750V
Develop lighting, fire alarm, security, and access controls
Design communications, networking, automation, and control systems
Support inspections and coordination with project stakeholders
Requirements: Five to ten years of experience
Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
AutoCAD Electrical Design and Autodesk Revit experience
Eligibility for membership with TPS
Valid driver's license and leadership ability
Bring electrical design, controls, AutoCAD, and Revit capabilities to industrial, municipal, and commercial project work.
