CBC Vancouver seeks a creative Video Producer for permanent, full-time weekend work. You will pitch, shoot, edit, and deliver stories across digital, social, radio, and television platforms. Key Responsibilities: Conceive, pitch, develop, and edit story ideas
Research, write, interview, shoot, and edit visual content
Operate cameras and ancillary equipment across platforms
Process images within Journalism Standards and Practices
Travel occasionally for breaking news and planned assignments
Requirements: Degree or certificate plus five years’ industry experience
Proven innovative visual storytelling record
Advanced camera, broadcast equipment, and editing knowledge
Understanding of diverse and contemporary communities
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
