Support mental health recovery as an Occupational Therapist at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke in Weston-Super-Mare, working 37.5 hours weekly. Apply assessment and therapy skills.
This Band 5 or newly qualified role supports adults across inpatient mental health services. You will assess occupational dysfunction, deliver person-centred therapy, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Regular clinical supervision and weekly one-to-one check-ins support practice development.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and treat occupational dysfunction across an allocated caseload
Deliver person-centred individual and group therapy sessions
Support service users from admission through discharge
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary therapy and clinical teams




Contribute to skills development across the clinical care model
Requirements: Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC
Understanding of mental health conditions and complex trauma
Understanding of occupational therapy processes and interventions
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to manage highly demanding clinical presentations
Bring occupational therapy, communication, and multidisciplinary skills to Cygnet’s mental health services at Kewstoke Hospital.
