Operate cement bulk equipment safely for TRICAN in Whitecourt, supporting customer locations, travel, and station operations. A Class 1 licence is required.
The Cement Bulk Driver/Operator protects TRICAN’s priority of protected equipment and operations. You will operate semi tractors and trailers, inspect equipment, complete forms, and maintain units. The schedule is 15 days on and 6 days off, with 24-hour on-call coverage during shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Operate semi tractors and trailers in all conditions
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections accurately
Configure, operate, and rig out equipment safely
Attend pre-job safety meetings at customer locations
Consult supervisors and crews about operational deficiencies
Requirements: Valid Class 1 Driver's licence
Safe driving skills and requested driver's abstract
Physical fitness for required heavy lifting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Availability for all-weather work and 24-hour shift call
