The Second Cook supports ATCO’s Camp Services team at Jansen Discovery Lodge. This workforce housing facility supports a potash mine located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon. You will prepare varied meals, inspect food and equipment, and maintain qualified kitchen operations. The position requires food safety knowledge and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve meals to the highest standard
Support kitchen operations professionally
Operate required equipment safely
Inspect food and equipment on scheduled intervals
Keep the workplace clean and tidy
Requirements: Complete post-secondary cooking program
Hold a valid food safety certificate
Bring two to three years of Second Cook experience
Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Communicate professionally orally and in writing
Bring cooking experience, food safety knowledge, and organized kitchen practices to ATCO’s Jansen Discovery Lodge camp team.
