Lead play-based learning as a Program Educator with Compass Early Learning and Care in Bethany, Ontario, supporting children through active supervision.
This one-year contract serves the Rolling Hills Program at Compass ELC. The position requires planning interest-based activities, documenting learning, and creating protected environments. You will support children’s routines while building relationships with families, coworkers, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead interest-based, play-based activities
Maintain active supervision while engaging in play
Document children’s learning through observation and reflection
Support diapering, dressing, and eating habits
Collaborate with families, coworkers, and community partners
Requirements: One to three years’ experience with children and youth
Familiarity with Child Care Early Years Act requirements
Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and updated immunization records
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
High School Diploma or GED; minimum age eighteen
Bring play-based programming, active supervision, and family collaboration skills to Compass Early Learning and Care’s Bethany program.
