As a Wind Field Service Technician, you will repair and test factory generators, motors, and wind turbines onsite. Responsibilities include electrical lead cable replacement, measurements, inspection, reconditioning, troubleshooting, and accurate service documentation. Training is available, with mechanical experience in automotive, diesel, aviation, welding, machining, or electromechanical work preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect, test, and recondition electric motors and generators
Replace electrical lead cables and apply grease
Measure critical dimensions during up tower work




Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment accurately
Recommend and implement solutions for routine problems
Requirements: Familiarity with hand and power tools
Robust customer orientation and professional communication skills
Accurate preparation of service reports and work orders
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred PdMA testing or Level I Vibration Analysis skills
Bring mechanical knowledge, electrical troubleshooting ability, and precise documentation to onsite generator and wind equipment service work.
