This temporary position serves the Ambulance - Land department in Kyle. The Emergency Medical Responder provides patient care in pre-hospital settings while working days, nights, evenings, weekends, and standby shifts. The assignment is 0.75 FTE, with 112 hours per four weeks.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patients before and during pre-hospital care
Provide care for patients in pre-hospital settings
Transfer patients according to care requirements
Transport patients through Ambulance - Land services
Requirements: Emergency Medical Responder certificate
Licensing examination for Saskatchewan College of Paramedics registration
Grade 10 education
Valid Class 4 driver's license
First Aid and CPR Level C certificates
Use patient assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills while delivering pre-hospital care from Kyle Health Centre.
