School District 71 is hiring a temporary 0.8 FTE teacher for Grades 8-12 Humanities. This position requires experience designing and instructing Humanities online at the secondary level. Teachers work with students, colleagues, and parents while maintaining online classrooms and supporting blended instruction.
Key Responsibilities: Design and instruct online secondary Humanities courses
Maintain advanced online classrooms in learning systems
Implement online learning platforms to enhance learning
Support assessment documentation for students, parents, and educators




Work with students through online and in-person tutorials
Requirements: Online learning teaching training, certification, or direct experience
Humanities education and experience at secondary school level
Advanced assessment for learning practice knowledge
Experience using Brightspace, Zoom, and Teams
Ability to support course adaptations and I.E.P.s
Use secondary Humanities expertise, learning platforms, and assessment practices to personalize blended instruction for School District 71 learners.
