Registered Practical Nurses at Extendicare’s Hamilton Home provide resident care and guide personal care staff across all shifts. This part time position offers 30 hours weekly.
As a valued RPN team member, you will work according to standards of practice in a long-term care setting. You will develop care plans, supervise personal care staff, and support new team members. Current provincial registration is required.
Key Responsibilities: Develop resident care plans according to standards of practice
Implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
Plan and direct personal care staff work
Supervise and evaluate personal care staff performance
Orient and train new team members
Requirements: Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses
Compassionate, professional, and respectful approach
Ability to read English effectively
Ability to write English effectively
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Bring registered practical nursing, resident care planning, and staff leadership skills to Extendicare’s Hamilton Home on all shifts.
