The role supports construction operations through direct power distribution experience, underground installations, system switching, and protected work practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Install overhead and underground power distribution equipment
- Perform conductor stringing, sagging, clipping, and dead-ending
- Execute advanced switching with reclosers and loop feeds
- Complete underground cable testing,

- Mentor apprentices and maintain safety documentation

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Powerline Technician 434A or Red Seal
- Utility construction and direct distribution experience
- Energized work, switching, and underground installation experience
- Class 4 Rubber Glove experience
- Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driver’s abstract
