Extendicare seeks a Personal Support Worker to follow supervisor-directed care plans and support residents or clients. The work includes personal hygiene, daily living activities, mobility assistance, and reporting changes in condition. You will also provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support.
Key Responsibilities: Follow care plans determined by the supervisor
Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living
Support ambulation, transfers, mobilization, and adaptive aids
Observe and report changes in residents' conditions
Escalate medical emergencies appropriately
Requirements: Personal Support Worker program graduate or provincial equivalent
Experience working with seniors in community health services
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
Ability to lift and transfer clients
