Operate roll-off trucks and pup trailers in Sparwood, BC, delivering safe, efficient waste removal with accurate route documentation. This safety-sensitive position requires drug and alcohol testing.

The Driver collects waste from customer sites and transports it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal. Duties include operating roll-off and flatbed trucks, using truck-mounted forklifts, and maintaining skilled customer service. Experience in mine site heavy equipment operations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and daily reports
- Collect waste and transport materials to disposal facilities
- Operate trucks and equipment using prescribed techniques
- Communicate hazards and mechanical problems immediately
- Maintain clean vehicles and accurate service records

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Fairly clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract for five years
- Experience operating heavy equipment in mine sites
- Roll-off truck experience preferred; pup trailer proficiency valuable
- Ability to perform physical, labour-intensive tasks
