CBI Home Health is looking to hire Personal Support Worker - 6 month guaranteed hours contract for the following regions:

Travel region : North St. Catharine's

Travel region : Thorold/South St. Catharine's

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $22.89 – $24.63 per hour.

Vacancy Disclosure: This posting is for an existing vacancy with guaranteed hours for a period of 6 months contract. Incumbent should commit to full 6 month assignment.

Job Rotations:

Morning Rotations #1 - North St. Catharine's (Bi-weekly hours 35 hrs)

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday (7am to 12pm) with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Off

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7am to 12pm) with Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Off

Morning Rotations #2 - North St. Catharine's (Bi-weekly hours 35 hrs)

Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7am to 12pm) with Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Off

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday (7am to 12pm) with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Off

Evening Rotations #1 - North St. Catharine's (Bi-weekly hours 35 hrs)

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday (5pm to 10pm) with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Off

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (5pm to 10pm) with Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Off

Morning Rotations #2 - Thorold/ South St. Catharine's (Bi-weekly hours 35 hrs)

Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7am to 12pm) with Monday,

What you will do

- You will support clients to be as safe and independent in their homes as possible
- You will provide personal care to clients in their home, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises.
- You will act at all times with the client and their family at the heart of all you do, observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in their condition to your Manager/Supervisor.
- You may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

What you will need to be successful

- Your Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
- Equivalencies
- Home Support Worker Level I, II or III, Health Care Aid, Personal Attendant (PA+2), Developmental Support Worker, OTA/PTA, Paramedic
- Internationally Trained Registered Nurse/ Registered Practical Nurse (RN/ RPN), Midwife or Physicians
- Students currently enrolled post 1st year in Nursing, Rehab, Medicine or Paramedicine
