Deliver patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse on CGMH’s Inpatient Surgical team, using assessment and therapeutic nursing approaches. This permanent full-time position involves 12-hour shifts.

Reporting to the Manager, Inpatient Units & Allied Health, you will care for patients across the South Georgian Bay region. The role emphasizes supportive, palliative, rehabilitative, and therapeutic approaches. You will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to provide safe, coordinated, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Apply supportive and therapeutic approaches to patient needs
- Use palliative and rehabilitative approaches when appropriate




- Provide care and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with interprofessional colleagues for coordinated care

Requirements:

- Registration with the College of Nurses as an RPN
- Coronary Care 1 certification preferred
- One year of applicable nursing experience preferred
- Meditech Expanse experience preferred
- Commitment to CGMH’s values and daily professional conduct
