This Boom Truck Operator works in Cando’s Infrastructure Renewal Department. The position operates and maintains picker trucks on track, follows CROR and COR regulations, and supports customer production requirements. Responsibilities include equipment transport, documentation, team transportation, and employee guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain railway picker trucks on track
- Cut rail and load products into gondola cars
- Load equipment and secure it for transport
- Complete journals, maintenance documents, and daily paperwork
- Guide employees in safe equipment operations

Requirements:

- Minimum one year operating a Boom Truck
- Valid driver’s license and clean three-year Driver’s Abstract
- Hold or pursue a Class 1 driver’s license
- Lift 50 pounds regularly and comprehend oral directions
- Obtain Canadian Rail Operating Rules and First Aid certifications
