WildBrain Studios seeks an experienced Animatic Editor to report to the Producer and collaborate with episodic directors. You will assess storyboards and previz material while supporting story, pacing, action, and scene development. This full-time position requires location within British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities: Edit animatics from initial assembly through final lock
Troubleshoot pacing, story, and action across scenes
Suggest alternative cuts and storyboard revisions
Add temporary sound effects and music
Communicate effectively with the director
Requirements: Two to three years of animatic editorial experience
Strong Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro knowledge
Understanding of post procedures, production, and workflow
Understanding of story, pacing, timing, and action sequences
Experience collaborating remotely across locations and time zones
Bring editorial judgment, agile pacing, and visual storytelling to WildBrain Studios’ episodic animation work across British Columbia.
