Support protected aircraft loading and cargo handling at Cargojet while operating ground support equipment and meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Work occurs outdoors in all weather conditions.
The Ground Handler processes cargo and aircraft loading or offloading within prescribed parameters. Cargojet operates time-sensitive overnight air cargo services across North America, using all-cargo aircraft. You will sort packages, communicate shipment information, and handle freight carefully. The position includes daily work around aircraft, customer packages, and trucks.
Key Responsibilities: Load and offload aircraft and trucks safely
Operate ground support equipment during cargo handling
Sort packages by customer and airport destination




Communicate piece counts and package information
Complete dangerous goods handling and acceptance tasks
Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent experience
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence or equivalent
Ability to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC pass
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
Availability for shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays
Bring careful freight handling, equipment operation, and safety awareness to Cargojet's aircraft ground operations and overnight cargo network.
